Refund policy
Returns & Refunds Policy
At Darts Chester, every personalised order is prepared specifically for our customers. Please check your garment selections, sizes, colours, quantities and personalisation requirements carefully before placing your order.
1. Personalised and Customised Orders
Due to the personalised nature of embroidered and printed garments, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds for changes of mind, incorrect size selections, incorrect colour selections, or ordering errors made by the customer once production has begun.
This includes garments personalised with logos, text, names, numbers or other bespoke decoration.
Please ensure that all order details and any supplied or approved artwork are correct before confirming your order. Where we provide an artwork proof for approval, customers are responsible for checking the spelling, layout, positioning, colours and other visible details before approving it.
Once an order has entered production, changes or cancellations may not be possible. If you need to amend an order, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to help, but cannot guarantee that changes can be made.
2. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
We take care when preparing your workwear orders. However, if an item arrives faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or incorrectly personalised due to an error on our part, please contact us as soon as possible.
We ask customers to notify us within 7 days of receiving their order wherever possible, so we can investigate and resolve the issue promptly. This is a request to help us deal with problems efficiently and does not limit your statutory rights.
Please email sales@dartschester.co.uk with:
-
Your order number and contact details.
-
A description of the issue.
-
Clear photographs of the affected garment, any fault or damage, and the personalisation where relevant.
Please retain the affected items and wait for our instructions before returning anything. We may need to inspect the garments or request further photographs to establish the cause of the issue.
Where a problem is confirmed, we will work with you to find an appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement, correction of the personalisation, repair or refund, depending on the circumstances and your legal rights.
3. Personalisation and Artwork
Customers are responsible for ensuring that any artwork, logos, wording, names, numbers and other information they supply are accurate and that they have permission to use them.
Where a proof is provided, please check it carefully before approval. We cannot accept responsibility for errors that were clearly shown in a proof and approved by the customer. However, this does not affect your rights if the finished item differs from the approved proof or contains an error made by us.
Embroidery and printing involve specialist production processes. Minor variations in colour, positioning, stitch appearance or print finish may occur between garments and production runs. Such variations are not automatically considered faults, but we will assess any concern on its individual merits.
4. Unpersonalised Garments
Unpersonalised garments that have not been decorated may be subject to different cancellation and return rights, particularly for online consumer orders. Please contact us before sending any items back so we can confirm the applicable process.
Any applicable statutory cancellation rights will be honoured.
5. Items We Cannot Accept as Standard Returns
Unless an item is faulty, incorrectly supplied or another legal right applies, we cannot accept returns for:
-
Personalised garments ordered in the wrong size or colour.
-
Garments where the customer supplied incorrect wording, names, numbers or artwork.
-
Items where the customer has changed their mind after personalisation or production has begun.
-
Garments that have been worn, washed, altered or damaged after delivery by the customer.

7. Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or restrict any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law. Personalised goods may be exempt from the usual online change-of-mind cancellation period, but this does not remove your rights in respect of faulty, misdescribed or incorrectly supplied goods.
This policy applies alongside any other terms agreed with us for your order.
