Terms of Service

Last updated: 27 October 2026

1. Overview

This website is operated by Darts Chester Limited, trading as Darts Chester. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Darts Chester Limited.

We provide this website, including all information, tools and services available from it, to you, the user, subject to your acceptance of these Terms of Service.

By visiting our website or purchasing something from us, you engage with our services and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, including any additional terms and policies referred to here or available by hyperlink.

These Terms apply to customers purchasing products and services through our website, including workwear, printed garments, embroidered garments and other personalised products.

Please read these Terms carefully before using our website. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use our website or services.

Our website is hosted by Shopify Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services.

Our business details:

2. Access to our website and accounts

You must be at least the age of majority in your country or region of residence to make purchases independently, or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian where legally permitted.

You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information when making a purchase or creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your account details secure and for all activity carried out through your account.

We reserve the right to refuse service, restrict access or cancel an account where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached or where necessary to protect our business, customers or website.

3. Products and services

We supply workwear, clothing, accessories, embroidery, garment printing and related personalisation services.

We make reasonable efforts to display our products, colours, sizes and descriptions accurately. However, colours may appear differently depending on your screen, device and display settings.

Product images are for illustrative purposes. Minor variations in garment colour, fit, fabric, branding placement or production finish may occur between products or batches.

Product availability, specifications and prices may change without notice. Any changes will not affect an order we have already accepted unless we agree otherwise with you or the change is required by law.

4. Orders and acceptance

When you place an order through our website, you are submitting an offer to purchase the selected products and services.

An order confirmation email confirms that we have received your order; it does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it or started production.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where a product is unavailable, pricing or listing information contains an obvious error, payment cannot be authorised, or we identify suspected fraud or misuse.

If we cancel an order after receiving payment, we will refund any amount due for the cancelled products or services.

For personalised orders, production may not begin until payment, artwork approval, garment specifications and any other required details have been received and confirmed.

Please check your order carefully before submitting it, particularly garment sizes, colours, quantities, personalisation details and delivery information.

5. Personalised garments and artwork approval

Personalised products may include embroidery, printing, names, logos, designs, numbers or other customisation requested by you.

You are responsible for checking the accuracy of the information you provide, including spelling, names, numbers, sizes, colours, logo versions, quantities and placement instructions.

Where we provide an artwork proof, you are responsible for reviewing and approving it before production. Approval confirms that you are happy for us to proceed using the approved artwork and specifications.

If you request changes after approving artwork or after production has started, additional charges or delays may apply. We will advise you of any applicable costs before proceeding where reasonably practicable.

We are not responsible for errors in customer-supplied information or artwork that we have reproduced in accordance with your instructions or approved proof. This does not affect your statutory rights where goods are faulty, misdescribed or otherwise do not conform to the contract.

Personalised goods are generally excluded from the usual right to cancel an online order simply because you have changed your mind. This exclusion does not remove your rights if goods are faulty, damaged, misdescribed or otherwise do not conform to the contract.

6. Customer-supplied artwork and intellectual property

If you supply a logo, image, name, design or other material for personalisation, you confirm that you have the necessary rights, permissions and authority for us to use it to fulfil your order.

You grant us permission to reproduce and use that material only as reasonably necessary to prepare, manufacture and fulfil your order and provide related customer service.

Any embroidery digitising files, stitch files, print-ready files, production artwork, templates or other technical files created or developed by Darts Chester during the initial set-up process or in connection with fulfilling your order remain the intellectual property of Darts Chester Limited, unless otherwise agreed in writing. This includes files created by converting, adapting or preparing customer-supplied artwork for embroidery or printing.

Payment for an order, set-up charge or personalisation service does not transfer ownership of these production files to the customer. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, customers are not entitled to receive, copy, transfer, reproduce or use these files independently or provide them to another supplier for production.

You retain ownership of any original logo, image, design or other intellectual property that you owned or were authorised to use before supplying it to us. Nothing in this section transfers ownership of that original material to Darts Chester.

You must not submit material that infringes another person's intellectual property rights or that you are not authorised to use.

We may decline to produce material where we reasonably believe its use would be unlawful or infringe another party's rights. You remain responsible for the material you supply and for obtaining any necessary permissions.

7. Prices, VAT and payment

All prices and applicable VAT information will be displayed on the website or confirmed in your quotation or order documentation.

Where VAT is applicable, it will be charged at the rate required by law. Any VAT-inclusive or VAT-exclusive price display will be indicated where relevant.

We reserve the right to change prices before an order is accepted. The price applicable to an accepted order will be the price confirmed at the time of purchase, subject to any agreed changes or corrections required by law.

Payment must be made using the payment methods available at checkout or otherwise agreed with us in writing.

Unless we have agreed credit terms with you in writing, payment must be received before production begins. Where credit terms have been agreed, the payment terms stated on your invoice or credit agreement will apply.

We may delay production or dispatch where payment has not cleared or where essential order information remains outstanding.

8. Business and trade orders

We supply products and services to businesses, organisations, clubs and individual customers.

Where you purchase on behalf of a business or organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to place the order and agree to these Terms on its behalf.

Any quotation, agreed price, quantity, specification, artwork approval or credit arrangement confirmed separately in writing will form part of the agreement for that order.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, quotations are valid for the period stated on the quotation. If no validity period is stated, we may revise a quotation before it is accepted.

Where a business customer has agreed credit terms, payment must be made in accordance with the applicable invoice or credit agreement.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

9. Delivery and collection

We aim to meet the delivery estimates provided at checkout, in a quotation or in our order communications. Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, delivery dates are estimates rather than guaranteed deadlines.

Production and delivery times may be affected by garment availability, artwork approval, customer responses, supplier delays, courier disruption or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and contact information. Additional charges or delays may arise if delivery cannot be completed because the information supplied is incorrect or incomplete.

If collection is offered and agreed, we will provide the relevant collection instructions.

Where an order is delayed significantly or cannot be fulfilled, we will communicate with you and explain the available options where appropriate.

For consumer orders, risk in the goods passes to you when you, or a person you nominate who is not the carrier, take physical possession of them, except where the law provides otherwise. Different arrangements may apply to business orders where agreed in writing and permitted by law.

10. Returns, cancellations and refunds

Our Returns and Refunds Policy explains how we handle returns, cancellations and refunds and forms part of these Terms.

Personalised, embroidered and printed garments are generally not eligible for return simply because you have changed your mind, selected the wrong size or colour, or supplied incorrect personalisation details, once production has begun, subject to applicable law.

Unpersonalised goods may be subject to statutory cancellation and return rights for online purchases. Any applicable exceptions and conditions will be explained in our Returns and Refunds Policy.

If an item arrives faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible at sales@dartschester.co.uk, providing your order number, a description of the issue and photographs where helpful.

We will assess the issue and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with your legal rights.

Any request that you report an issue promptly is intended to help us investigate and resolve it efficiently. It does not limit any statutory rights or remedies you may have.

Nothing in these Terms or our Returns and Refunds Policy affects your rights under applicable consumer law.

11. Product information and errors

Occasionally, information on our website may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions relating to product descriptions, prices, promotions, delivery charges, availability or other details.

We reserve the right to correct errors, update information or cancel an order where information was materially incorrect, subject to applicable law and your statutory rights.

If an error affects an order you have placed, we will contact you where reasonably practicable to explain the issue and discuss the available options.

12. Promotions and discounts

Promotional offers, discounts and bundle prices may be subject to additional terms, including eligibility, minimum quantities, dates, stock availability or restrictions on combining offers.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotions cannot be exchanged for cash and may not be combined with other discounts.

We reserve the right to amend or withdraw a promotion where reasonably necessary, subject to any rights that have already arisen under an accepted order and applicable law.

13. Website intellectual property

All website content, including text, graphics, branding, logos, photographs, page designs and other materials owned by or licensed to Darts Chester Limited, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may view and use the website for lawful personal or business purchasing purposes. You must not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify or commercially exploit our website content without our prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

This section does not give us ownership of intellectual property belonging to customers or third parties.

14. Third-party services and links

Our website may include links to third-party websites or use third-party services, applications or payment providers.

We do not control third-party websites and are not responsible for their content, terms, privacy practices or availability. Your use of third-party services may be subject to separate terms and conditions.

The inclusion of a third-party link does not imply that we endorse the third party, unless we expressly state otherwise.

15. Website use and prohibited activities

You must not use our website:

  • For any unlawful purpose.

  • To infringe our intellectual property rights or those of others.

  • To submit false, misleading or fraudulent information.

  • To transmit malicious code, viruses or other harmful material.

  • To interfere with the security, operation or availability of
